Experiences at Birmingham - Our New Blog Series

I MUST BE THE MOST QUALIFIED PERSON to write about my initial experiences at the University of Birmingham. After all, I spent nearly my entire life, living on a campus - the University of Ghana, Legon. Not only did I live there; I schooled there (preparatory, high school, and at the undergraduate level) as well. In the absence of anyone with higher credentials, allow me to speak as an authority will on his area of expertise on the above-mentioned subject.

"Awesome". That is the only word that comes to mind in attempting to describe my first few days in (the University of) Birmingham. I arrived by train from the New Street Station on a Monday morning. I must say that the usual hustle and bustle that is the norm with first day's at a university was absent. This is with good reason - I got in week early to settle into life in a new environment. And a new environment that was... - Nii Ampa-Sowa (MSc. Investment)
